The "war on terror"?

The events of 911 triggered a "war on terror" which is claimed will last for a generation. However, many are sceptical of the true extent of the "terror threat", especially the "threat" which is purported to exist within the UK. Since 911, there has been one major attack causing loss of life, even assuming that the events of 7/7 were as explained by official sources. Remember, the Blair Government has, rather oddly, blocked any inquiry!! Many more people have been killed by motoring accidents, murder and other reasons not connected with "terror". What is also noticeable is the racheting up of the "terror threat" close to elections, or when there is bad news, or even when politicians are scheduled to discuss increasing draconian "anti-terror" legislation. It seems that the whole emphasis appears to be a tactic of using fear to manipulate public perceptions and opinion.

The "Nexus of Terror"

Others are also noticing this, and American television Keith Olbermann, who is also becoming very critical of the corruptness of the Bush administration, recently televised the following articles.
